Kari Bale

I'm Kari Bale, a professional writer, speaker, and Indigenous beadwork artist living in San Jose, California. I am a Stanford graduate (B.A. 2004, M.Ed 2007), a former high school teacher, a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, and a wife and mother. I publish regularly at "Jesus, Take the Smartphone" on Substack and am currently working on my debut memoir. As a public speaker, I draw from my personal life to educate, entertain, and inspire diverse audiences.
